Nearly 40 years of breeding underpins the Kandoona Red Brahman Stud. Started in the mid 1960’s by Bevan and Liz Radel from very humble beginnings, the stud now joins 700 females and sells in excess of 250 herd and stud bulls per year Australia wide. Growth, fertility and constitution are the fundamental principles on which Kandoona seeks to deliver to its customers.
A turning point in the stud’s development was the purchase of Lancefield D Robinson in 1993 for $32,000. Selected for his muscle, bone, growth and excellent temperament, Robinson has gone on to be one of the most influential red sires in the breed. Over the last 15 years we have sold 80 sons at auction to average $9,162. |
